Tea in the 'Valentines Bakery'. ..

Sometimes I think that I am just a 'big' kid that never grew up and still loves to 'play' house.

Now that I have a home of my own I pretend in other ways.

Such is the case with my 'Valentines Bakery'

When you first walk into a bakery are you not filled with delight?  The smells, the sights. . .seem to take us to a 'sweet' place!

I mean, where else do you see so many delicious things in one place?

That was the thought behind my 'Valentines Bakery' in my entry.

I was hoping that family and friends would feel the delightfulness of  playing pretend as I do.

Come in, sit down. . .grab a goodie or two.

If you're in a hurry, and can not stay; fill a wicker hamper
 and take home with you!

We have cupcakes, strawberries, taffy, and more. . .

just waiting for you inside our front door!

I'd love you to stay and have a cup of tea. . .

Otherwise it will be, just little ole me!

And what kind of tea am I serving today?

Well my friends, it's a white earl grey.

Our chocolait comes from Paris and is only the best. . .

I'm sure if you give it a try, it will pass the test!

Come quickly, don't tarry.  These goodies won't last.

They all will be gone once Feb. 14th is past!

Hope you had fun playing pretend with me today.

Does the body good.

Maybe it keeps us young and from growing grey! (He-he, I think L'Oreal is doing that for me)

hugs,
Jann

I stayed and tarried Jann! You have so many Valentine pretties. The cupcake garland is to dye for, and the Valentine treats seem to be calorie free. I like that! Have a great day! Jo

The cakes look beautiful and the strawberries look so tasty. I think that a romantic valentine's tea party would be a lovely surprise for my hubby. He does love to eat pretty cakes... but we won't tell his workmates. :-)

For the most part I pretend every week when joining the tea gatherings. I've never had a bakery like yours though, so many yummy things.
I really like your idea of stringing paper muffin cup liners and lace together, a nice country effect to your display cupboard.
